Specialty Certification Classes
Boat Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to boat diving and to help the student diver develop skills necessary for boat diving. Candidates must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver or equivalent, and be at least 12 years old to enroll.
Drift Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to drift diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills to safely participate in drift diving activities. Applicants must be a PADI Open Water Diver, junior Open Water Diver or equivalent, and be at least 12 years to enroll.
Dry Suit Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to dry suit diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills to safely participate in dry suit diving activities. Applicants must be a PADI Open Water Diver and have own dry suit.
Enriched Air Diver
This course is designed to qualify recreational divers to use enriched air (nitrox) for no-stop recreational diving. The program addresses the use of enriched air with 22% to 40% oxygen, with emphasis on enriched air with 32% and 36% oxygen. Candidates must be a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent, and be at least 15 years old to enroll.

Equipment Specialist
This course is designed to be an introduction to new types of equipment and to familiarize divers with the operation and maintenance of equipment. Equipment Specialist is a great course for all divers to take whether you own equipment or are thinking about purchasing equipment. Applicants must be a PADI Scuba Diver, Jr. Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver or have equivalent ratings and be at least 12 years old.
Ice Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to ice diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills for ice diving. Applicants must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have an equivalent rating and be at least 18 years old. Must have own dry suit.
Multilevel Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to multilevel diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills to safely participate in multilevel diving activities. Candidates must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver or equivalent, and be at least 12 years old to enroll.
Night Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to night diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills to safely participate in night diving activities. Candidates must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver or equivalent, and be at least 12 years old to enroll.
Peak Performance Buoyancy
The purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Course is to polish a diver’s buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level. The goal of the course is to enhance the student diver’s buoyancy control abilities through knowledge development and practical skills practice. Candidates must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver or equivalent, and be at least 12 years old to enroll.
Search and Recovery Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to search and recovery diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in search and recovery diving activities. Applicants must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or have an equivalent rating or be certified as an Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver and Padi Underwater Navigator Specialty Diver or equivalent and be at least 12 years old.
Underwater Navigator Diver
This course is designed to be an introduction to underwater navigation diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills to safely participate in underwater navigation diving activities. Applicants must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver, or equivalent and be at least 12 years old.
Underwater Photographer
This course is designed to be an introduction to basic underwater photography and to help the student develop techniques necessary to enjoy this interesting activity. Applicants must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver, or equivalent and be at least 12 years old.
Project Aware Specialty
The project aware specialty program is designed to familiarize divers and non-divers with the plightof worldwide aquatic ecosystems. It also describes what individuals can do to help protect aquatic resources.
Underwater Naturalist
This course is designed to be an introduction to the underwater aquatic environment and to help the student diver develop safe and responsible interaction with aquatic life. Applicants must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver, or equivalent and be at least 12 years old.
Fish Identification
This course is designed to introduce divers to the most common families and species of fish found in temperate and tropical waters. Divers learn basic fish identification and scientific surveying techniques. Divers also learn the importance of personal involvement in aquatic environment conservation. Applicants must be a PADI Open Water Diver, Jr. Open Water Diver, or equivalent and be at least 12 years old.
Coral Reef Conservation
This course teaches divers, snorkelers and non- divers about the vital role coral reefs play in the marine environment and how these ecosystems are currently threatened. The course familiarizes participants with the current state of the world’s coral reefs and explains how individuals can help protect the living reef from further decline.
